Export a list, step by step
- 01
Open My Properties
Your saved lists live here. A search you never saved to a list can't be exported, so save it first. - 02
Open the list and select the records
Tick the properties you want, or select all of them on the list. - 03
Choose Export
PropStream downloads a CSV. The Actions menu also offers mailing labels if all you need is a mail merge New PropStream feature: free mailing labels. - 04
Repeat per list
Each list exports on its own. Name the files after the list (for example "tax-default-march.csv") so you know what each one was.
If you skip traced the list
What's in the file
PropStream doesn't publish its export headers; its own how-to page now returns a 404. The list below is from Invelo's migration guide (a third party) PropStream CRM migration guide, so treat the exact names as likely, not certain. Open your own file and compare.
What doesn't come with it
- Fresh numbers. Estimated value, equity and LTV are a snapshot. Once you leave, they stop updating.
- Searches you didn't save. Filters and saved searches stay in PropStream. Write down the filters that worked (for example "absentee, 50%+ equity, owned 10+ years") so you can rebuild them.
- Notes and history. Treat anything you typed about a seller as not exported unless you see it in the file.
Check the file before you cancel
- 01
Count the rows
Compare the row count with the record count PropStream showed for the list. - 02
Open it in a spreadsheet
Make sure the owner and mailing columns are filled, not blank, for most rows. - 03
Keep the do-not-mail and DNC flags
Carry them into whatever you use next, so nobody who asked to be left alone hears from you again. - 04
Store a copy
Keep the original CSV untouched in a folder, and work on a copy.
Where to take it next
Most tools take a CSV. In Parcel, Deal Radar ($79 a month) reads the lists you upload next to the public records it checks every day in 121 markets, and scores each property 0 to 100 for signs of selling, so the list you paid for keeps working after you leave. It starts with a 14-day free trial.
