At a glance
Where Follow Up Boss is stronger
- It's a full CRM: every lead source in one place, with each lead's history, stages and call reporting. Parcel is not a CRM and has no CRM sync today.
- Texting and calling for you and your team from the same place; Parcel sends no texts.
- AI features at no extra cost on every plan, including smart summaries, suggested tasks and predictive lead prioritization.
- Team plans: Pro includes 10 users and Platform 30, with team inboxes.
Where Parcel is different
- It answers the calls you already get. Calls to your AI Caller number from sign riders, your website and ads are answered as they come in, while you're at a showing.
- It books the appointment itself, from your own calendar's free times, and emails you a summary of every call.
- It says it's an AI, and calls only people who asked. The first sentence is fixed text, and outbound calls go only to people who agreed on your seller page or on a recorded call (FCC 24-17).
- A price on the page. AI Caller is $99 a month with 200 minutes as a hard cap, month to month. It is in early access and can't be bought until its phone line goes live.
Which to choose
Choose Follow Up Boss if
- You need a CRM to keep every lead, note and follow-up in one place.
- You run a team that shares leads and inboxes.
- You do your own calling and texting and want AI to help you keep up.
Choose Parcel if
- You miss calls while you're showing homes and want each one answered and booked.
- You don't use a CRM yet and want the one tool that answers and books.
- You want the AI to say it's an AI and only call back people who asked.
AI Caller is in early access until Parcel connects its voice provider.
Using both
Many agents would use both: Follow Up Boss as the CRM, Parcel's AI Caller to answer the calls to your number and book them. There is no direct sync today, so each call summary arrives by email, each booking as a calendar invite, and your leads, calls and appointments download as CSV for import.
Whatever you pick, an AI voice may only call people who agreed to calls from your business (47 CFR 64.1200). Is AI cold calling legal?
