Terms of service
Last updated
The short version: pay for what you use and cancel any time; you are responsible for contacting owners lawfully, and Parcel's safeguards help but don't replace that; check AI output and public data before relying on them.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Westward Consulting, which runs Parcel. By creating an account or using Parcel, its API or its assistant connectors, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you use Parcel for a company, you agree for that company.
Parcel is for businesses and professionals in the United States. You must be at least 18.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you.
- Workspace owners decide who joins their workspace and are responsible for what members do in it.
- Keep API keys secret. Calls made with your key count as yours.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Prices are on the pricing page. Plans renew each month or year until cancelled, and Stripe charges the card on file at the start of each period.
- Upgrading your plan (a plan that costs more, or a change of billing period) is charged right away to the card on file, prorated for the rest of the current period. Downgrading takes effect when your plan renews; nothing is credited and nothing is taken away before then. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial: your card is collected at checkout and nothing is charged until day 15, and cancelling before then costs nothing. You can cancel any time from Plan & billing; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it or we ended your access without cause.
- Plans include limits: AI tools up to 300 runs per tool a month, AI Caller minutes and owner lookups as listed for your plan. When a limit is used up, that feature pauses until the next period.
- Products marked "Early access" can't be bought until we open them.
- If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
4. You are the sender and the caller
When you email, call or text an owner, buyer or lead, you are the sender or caller, and you are responsible for following the law where they live. Parcel's caps, footers, opt-out handling, consent checks and calling hours are safeguards, not legal advice, and they don't make every use lawful. In particular:
- Email only from a domain and mailbox you own, with your real business name, postal address and (for agents) license details. Never send bulk or purchased-list blasts.
- AI calls go only to people who gave your business written consent (or a recorded spoken yes) to be called by an AI assistant. Never ask us to AI-call a list, a Deal Radar record or a looked-up number, and never try to work around the consent check.
- For your own manual calls, check the National Do Not Call Registry and your internal list first, and call only at lawful hours.
- Owner contact lookups are for your own outreach about a property, under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and your state's rules. Don't use them for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (credit, insurance, employment or tenant screening), and don't resell, share or feed the results into another data product.
- Honor every opt-out at once, whatever channel it comes from.
- Never mention someone's hardship (such as a foreclosure, a death, a divorce or a probate case) in a message, and never use records a court or state restricts for solicitation.
- Follow fair-housing law, your state's licensing and advertising rules, and any local rules on solicitation and purchase offers.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Parcel to:
- send spam, harass anyone, or impersonate a person or business;
- discriminate against anyone, or target or exclude people because of a protected characteristic;
- decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment or housing (our data is not a consumer report and must not be used as one);
- resell or republish our data or outputs as a data product, or scrape the service;
- get around plan limits, rate limits, caps or safety checks, or probe or overload our systems;
- break the law or anyone else's rights.
We may pause sending, calling or an account to stop a breach of these rules, and we'll tell you why.
6. Your content and public-record data
- You keep what you put in and what the tools produce for you. You let us process it only to run the service for you.
- Public-record data comes from government open-data portals as published. It can be late, incomplete or wrong, and a signal or a score is a reason to look, not a fact about anyone's plans. Check before you rely on it.
- Lists you upload must be ones you are allowed to use for the outreach you plan.
7. AI output
The AI tools, the deal analyzer and AI Caller can be wrong. Review what they produce before you send, sign or rely on it. Nothing Parcel produces is legal, tax, appraisal, lending or investment advice; estimates such as ARV, repairs and offer ranges are starting points for your own judgment.
8. API, assistant connectors and other services
- The API and the public assistant tools are rate-limited and may change; we keep changes backward-compatible where we can.
- Parcel works with services you choose, such as your mailbox provider, your calendar and Stripe. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.
- The affiliate program has its own rules on that page.
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Parcel and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people or the service at risk; if we close an account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period. After an account closes, data is deleted as the privacy policy describes.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Parcel is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always available, or that it will find you deals.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or deals), and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible for claims that come from your outreach or your breach of these terms, and you will cover our reasonable costs from them.
11. Governing law
The governing law and venue for these terms will be named here. Until then, write to privacy@westwardconsulting.ai with any legal question and we will answer in writing.
12. Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and email account owners about significant changes before they apply. Questions: privacy@westwardconsulting.ai.
